The motor could have coil windings with burned insulation which are short-circuiting and demanding too much current from the controllers and burning them out. To solve this problem the best thing to do is replace both the motor and controller at the same time.

Drifter controller I troubleshoot it my fury ground force drifter I determined it was the controller because the kart was still making a clicking noise I picked up a couple controllers on the internet and installed one it ran for about a half hour then it stopped it was clicking again all the lights were working so I remove that controller installed the second controller same thing happened it ran for about a half hour at full speed and then just start clicking again like a burnt out another controller Could the motor be doing this or what might be the problem apartment I need besides another controller thank you
