Hello: So, I've been reading several of the topics on increasing the Drifter Fury power, speed and ride-time. My boy (10) races his buddies around the block (all are stock) and has expressed the need for a little more speed. What is the fastest, easiest, cheapest way to accomplish this? Believe stock speed is ~12mph. Getting >15mph is desired. Please help, seems like there are many options here. Looking for the quickest bang for the buck. Plug and play motor? Sprocket? Controller? Thx for any guidance you can provide!!

A sprocket change would be the fastest, easiest, and cheapest way to accomplish a faster top speed, however, at the demise of the go kart's power and ride-time. Also, there are no readily available sprockets to increase the Razor Ground Force Drifter Fury's top speed so it is not really an option anyways.
To increase the power, speed, and ride-time a larger battery pack, motor, and speed controller would need to be custom installed. We have several kits for this available on this page:
Out of these kits, the 48 Volt kits would provide the longest ride-time. Estimated ride time with the 48 Volt 1000 watt kits is around 60 minutes, and estimated ride time with the 36 Volt 1000 Watt kits is around 45 minutes.
These 1000 Watt kits would increase the top speed by around 3 MPH using the original axle sprocket, or even more with a smaller axle sprocket installed.
