The Razor Power Core E90 electric scooter has a hub motor which uses gears to transmit power between the motor and wheel. Due to this the gear ratio can not be changed to increase the top speed of the scooter.
If the scooter was a Razor E90 Accelerator model which has chain drive then a motor sprocket with more teeth could be installed along with a slightly longer chain to increase the scooter's top speed.
With the Power Core E90 scooter the top speed can not be increased though.

Is it possible to get a little more speed from the power core e90. It's just a bit slow for my son on the bike path when we ride to camp by the beach. All flat. If I could get a few more mph it would make a world of difference.
